There are free clinics arranged for ladies who received a green voucher when paying their subs. The dates are Friday 6th August at 10am, Friday 6th August at 6:30pm and Saturday 21st August at 10am. Three topics will be covered at each session so if you can only attend one you will not miss a topic. Please book at the Pro’s shop as soon as possible if you wish to attend.

Pat McIntosh and Anne Biggs played in the matchplay final and Pat became the champion for the 5th consecutive year. Mary Brand had a wonderful day winning the Nett trophy, the Bronze Cup and the Tyro Cup. Well done to all the players who had good scores despite the very strong wind.

What a wonderful day from the brillant weather, the bar at the 12th hole, the meal,, the prizes, and the great scores. Congratulations to Diane Cairns on winning the Captain’s prize and the Peart Trophy. A very big thank you to the two Sue’s for all their hard work making this day so enjoyable.

The 9 Hole Competition on Thursday 1st July has had to be moved to Tuesday 6th July due to a visiting party. I have only just found out so I’m sorry for the late notice of the change.

After the Taster Sessions beginning in May, several ladies have become Tee-Timer Golfers. They will around the clubhouse and the practice field and I’m sure they will receive a warm welcome from all the ladies. Any helpers for the sessions on the practice field on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings would be greatly appreciated.
